The panoramic sauna entices visitors with its magnificent view of the picturesque Mühlenhof and, in addition to a bio sauna (65–70°C) and a classic Finnish sauna (90°C), a cozy relaxation room with lounging benches and hanging swings as well as a small sauna garden. Thanks to the high-quality, entirely natural furnishings—starting with the use of untreated woods such as spruce and pine, to clay-quark wall plaster and granite flooring, all the way to certified linen and cushions filled with natural latex that complement the relaxation area—a unique sauna experience has been created. Clear gemstone water is available for your refreshment.
Interior Design and Features:
The building was constructed using traditional materials such as half-timbering, wood, and clay. While a mixture of burl wood, tar, and boiled linseed oil was applied to the exterior of the building to protect it from the elements, all the wood inside is untreated.
The bathhouse’s furnishings and amenities were designed and executed with the highest standards of ecological building practices in mind. For this reason, the Mühlen Bathhouse, with its extraordinary regional architecture, is a unique feature of Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland.
