Description:

This hike leads directly from the hotel towards the upper Alpine village. After a short walk on an asphalt road, the trail continues on a wide forest road. The Dachmannweg leads slightly uphill towards the Kreistenalm. The majority of the hike is in the forest and is therefore recommended in all weathers.

The Kreistenalm offers hot food as well as cold dishes and drinks. The homemade desserts are a particular treat. There is also a small petting zoo and children's playground in front of the hut. On the panoramic terrace of the Alm you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.

The way back is via a forest road, moderately downhill to the Sternhof, from where the hiking trail joins an asphalt road.
