Avalanche course - avalanche transceiver training for winter sports enthusiasts

Description

Avalanche Course - Avalanche Transceiver Training for Winter Sports Enthusiasts

Proper Use of Safety Equipment

Every Saturday from December 19, 2026, through March 27, 2027

Anyone thinking about venturing into backcountry skiing and exploring the untouched winter landscape needs to be aware of the risks. In addition to assessing avalanche conditions, the proper use of safety equipment is especially important. This one-day course provides an introduction to these topics.

Using an avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe requires training and, above all, regular practice. For all guided tours, basic knowledge is advantageous and, in some cases, essential. That’s why we recommend this course to all beginners to get a first impression, as well as to anyone who has already been out in the backcountry as a refresher. For the practical exercises, we’ll head out into the backcountry near the valley.
