Beach volleyball has become a popular sport especially in the summer months or on beaches around the world. The game originated in the United States, where it came to the outdoors in the 1920s, derived from indoor volleyball. Initially developed as a recreational sport, the offshoot has become increasingly professionalized in subsequent years and has now established itself as a rousing professional sport all over the world.
In contrast to the original variant, here two against two play for the points at the net. The women in bikinis and the men in shorts and shirts also make Bach volleyball an aesthetic sport. Thousands of spectators follow the competitions around the world, which are now also part of the Olympic Games program.
The two fine sandy courts in the Sportwelt Radeberg invite you to follow the summer sport with lots of fun with friends or to organized tournaments.
