Description
Here, at the bottom of the valley near the Schösswendklamm gorge, water has been cutting through the hard rock for thousands of years. This has created interesting erosion forms, potholes and small waterfalls. Following the gorge, you continue to Hintersee and learn interesting facts about the flora and fauna in the rear Felbertal valley. On the north side of the lake, the circular trail leads up to a hill with a view over the head of the valley with its imposing rock faces, where chamois cavort. The way back follows the same route.
