We take the hotel bus to Mayrhofen and take Austria's largest gondola lift to the Ahornbahn mountain station from Mayrhofen to the Hahnpfalz (1960 m)
Ascent: After getting off the Ahornbahn gondola, we follow a wide path over the plateau-like Filzenboden to a saddle and then into the small bay of the Filzenkarl. With a slight intermediate descent across the green slopes below the Filzenkogel and gradually ascending again into the more extensive Föllenbergkar, where a striking left turn is made up to the Edelhütte (2238 m).
