Hike Gaisalm

Hike along the Mariensteig trail: Experience spectacular views directly on Lake Achensee and enjoy a varied tour with nature, exercise and a relaxed return journey by boat.

From the hotel, we hike to the start of the Mariensteig trail at the northern end of Lake Achensee. The narrow path leads steadily up and down along the shore and offers impressive panoramic views of the lake - surefootedness is required.

At the halfway point, we reach the idyllically situated, managed Gaisalm, where we take a leisurely break. We then continue by boat to the Seehof Chapel, from where we take a relaxing stroll along the eastern shore of the lake back to the hotel.
