E-bike & hike to the Hochplatte

Hike up the Hochplatte to an elevation of 1,813 meters via the sunny Jägersteig trail and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the Jochalm and the Karwendel from one of the most beautiful vantage points.

On this e-bike and hike tour, we’ll cover the first part of the route to the Seewaldhütte—located at 1,582 meters above sea level—by e-bike. From there, we’ll hike across vast alpine meadows and along a mountain trail to the summit of the Hochplatte at 1,813 m. Since the huts along this route are used for agricultural purposes but are not open to the public, we’ll enjoy our break at the summit with the provisions we’ve brought along and a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.

Difficulty: Moderate (red mountain trail)

Elevation gain: approx. 900 (700 by e-bike and 200 on foot)

Duration: approx. 4 hours
