Description
Schnadigen is a hamlet near Kauns in the Tyrolean Oberland. It does not have a lake, but a beautifully landscaped pond, the Schnadiger Weiher.
Show less The Schnadiger Weiher is actually an irrigation lake at the foot of the Hohe Aifnerspitze, but it is also popular for swimming. Especially hikers appreciate a refreshing summer bath after an extended tour. You can also fish here - mainly rainbow trout. Tickets are available from the Lenz family in Kaunerberg. It is best to park your car in the parking lot of the pond, from there it is a ten-minute walk on a gravel path suitable for baby carriages to the small, freely accessible lake.
