Description
From the Berghof, we hike briskly through the cool forest up to the Pölsneralm. Here, we have two options for the ascent to the Mittersiller Platte: a steeper route toward Pflugsberg and a slightly easier one through the forest. Either way, we’ll be rewarded with an impressive view. We can enjoy the snacks we brought with us on the bench by the summit cross, or we can simply sit down in the grass. Anyone who wants to can also sign the summit logbook. We’ll then hike back to the starting point at a leisurely pace.
Guided Hike:
Pickup at the hotel: 8:30 a.m.
Hiking time: approx. 3.5 hours
Return trip: approx. 1:00 p.m.
Moderately difficult mountain hike, approx. 650 meters elevation gain and 7 km
Equipment: Ankle-high hiking boots, telescoping poles, backpack with a drink, snacks, and sun and rain protection
