Winter hiking on the Salzach

Description

Along the banks of the Salzach you will find flat walking paths on both sides. You can walk in both directions, either in the direction of Schwarzach or in the direction of Bischofshofen, the duration of this walk is up to you. The total length of the paths is approx. 25 km.

There are plenty of places to stop for refreshments along these paths. If you take a little detour, you are sure to come across a cozy pub.

You can start from almost anywhere. Parking is available at the Plankenau playground or at the entrance to Maschl.
