Smugglers' Trail Gargellen

Where all kinds of smugglers and muleteers used to hang out, there are still easily accessible paths today. In a varied circular hike, the Smugglers' Trail leads over the St. Antönier Joch (2,379 m) past the Gafiersee (2,290 m) to the Gafierjoch (2,415 m). There is a lot to discover on the circular hike through the border area between Austria and Switzerland - including shy mountain dwellers such as marmots, chamois and ibex.
