The hike around the idyllic Ödensee is a true nature experience for young and old. The leisurely circular trail leads through shady forests and along the clear lake, which is nestled between the mountains of the Salzkammergut. On hot days in particular, the Ödensee is a great place to cool off.
It is possible to stop off at the Kohlröserlhütte, which is located directly on the lakeshore.
Followed by the return walk through the high moor back to the parking lot.
For the hike around the Ödensee, sturdy footwear, sufficient drinking water and sun protection are essential.
