Description

The hike around the idyllic Ödensee is a true nature experience for young and old alike. The leisurely loop trail leads through shady forests and along the clear lake, which lies nestled between the mountains of the Salzkammergut. On hot days in particular, the Ödensee is the perfect place to cool off.

You can stop for a break at the Kohlröserlhütte, which is located right on the lakeshore.

The trail then leads back through the high moor to the parking lot.

For the hike around Lake Ödensee, be sure to bring sturdy shoes, plenty of drinking water, and sunscreen.
