Description
Day 1: Depart from the Hotel Paraccia in San Vigilio. Follow trail no. 19, then after about 1.5 hours, take trail no. 12 to reach the summit of Piz da Peres. Continue through alpine meadows to Lake Fojedöra. From Fojedöra, follow trail no. 24 to Ciastlins and then to the Sennes Pass. Overnight stay at the Sennes Refuge or the Fodara Vedla Refuge.
Day 2: Continue to the summit of Sass dla Para. The hike presents no technical difficulties and offers magnificent views. Afterwards, return to the Fodara Vedla mountain pasture, then continue towards Pederü and reach the Fanes mountain pasture. Overnight stay: Lavarella Refuge or Fanes Refuge.
Day 3: From the Fanes mountain hut, the trail leads to the Limo Pass and then to Lake Limo. From there, it continues towards the Gran Fanes mountain hut and, across the Col de Locia (trail marker no. 11), to the Capanna Alpina refuge. The hike ends here; the return trip to San Vigilio is easily reached by public bus (free with the Guest Pass).
