Description
The hotel shuttle takes us to Alba in Val di Fassa. We then take the cable car and a chairlift to the starting point of the hike.
After approx. 2 hours of walking, we reach the Nikolauspass hut at 2338 m via a wonderful high-altitude trail.
After a short lunch break, we descend and hike through the beautiful Contrin Valley down to Alba.
Medium-difficulty hike - good surefootedness required
Ticket required for cable car and chairlift (for a fee)

Altitude difference 250 m uphill / 800 m downhill
