The Amberger Hütte (2,136 m) is located at the foot of the Schrankogel (3,499 m) in the Stubai Alps.
Its unique location is the ideal starting point for numerous mountain adventures.
Starting point and walking time:
Park your car in Gries bei Längenfeld am. Follow the signs along the wide forest path. (walking time approx. 2h)
Crossings from the hut: Hinterer Daunkopf to Dresdner Hütte - glacier-free, over the Atterkarjoch to Sölden - glacier-free, Wildgradscharte - Franz-Senn-Hütte, Geislehnscharte - Winnebachseehütte
