From the city centre to Hoch-Imst
Over a length of 1.5 km, the Schinderbach stream digs its way from the Blue Grotto through the rocky ridges of the Imst low mountain terraces to St. John's Church. (Difference in altitude 250m). For geologists this reflects millions of years of the earth's history, but also all those who have less to do with geology will be amazed by the enormous wealth of plants, flowers, animals and stones in the Rosengarten Gorge in Imst. astonished.

Opening hours: daily from May to October
We recommend good shoes, in winter the Rosengarten Gorge is closed for safety reasons! It is not possible to walk through the gorge with prams!
