Description
Its unique location in the Tyrolean Alps makes the area around Zams a paradise for herb lovers. The Zams Herb Witch guides interested visitors through Zams and shows them which special herbs can be found along the trail and in the meadows.
The walk begins at 9:30 a.m. from the Venet parking lot and leads through the Hinterfeld or toward the Tramser Weiher recreational area. With the help of the “Herbal Witch” Michaela Thöni-Kohler, participants will diligently identify herbs and, weather permitting, collect them. After returning to the Kräuterstadl, participants will tour the facility, and Michaela will demonstrate how the various herbs are dried and processed. The event lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please note that the walk involves an elevation gain of approximately 30 meters and that the Kräuterstadl is accessed via a short but steep staircase.
