Geocaching is a kind of electronic scavenger hunt that makes hiking holidays an experience not only for families. On websites, other cachers publish GPS coordinates together with descriptions and pictures. The investigator then loads these onto their own GPS device or smartphone, and off they go. While some treasures are stored directly at the specified position, others require visiting several locations, solving riddles or tasks.
