Description
At 3:20 a.m., the lobby is still dark and quiet—and Pavel is already standing there, headlamp on, somehow already awake. The man loves mountains. And sunrises. And he knows of no better place for them than the Grünten. The hike is no walk in the park: a 700-meter climb, the summit area secured with a wire rope, and a start in the middle of the night. But anyone who makes it to the top and sees the first light over the Alps—will understand why Pavel does this time and time again. We’ll provide a packed lunch and a headlamp. Pavel, of course, knows exactly what else you’ll need: sturdy footwear, and warm layers and something to drink in your backpack.
