🏔️ Silver mine Schwaz - a real underworld adventure!

Dive into the "mother of all mines", where around 85% of European silver was mined in the late Middle Ages, making Schwaz the second largest town in the Habsburg Empire!

🚂 Start with the Mine Train, which takes you 800 m deep into the Sigmund-Erbstollen (space for approx. 38-40 people) - helmet and coat included.

Then a 90-minute guided tour begins through tunnels, over stairs - at a constant 12 °C - and with exciting stories about miners and the Schwaz water wheel.
