When autumn bathes Lake Neusiedl in warm light, Mörbisch is all about the goose. For two days, people enjoy, taste and celebrate around the wine monument - with regional culinary delights, exquisite wines and atmospheric music against a picturesque backdrop.
Whether classic goose soup, crispy goose, sophisticated goose burgers, game specialties or hearty strudel - everything a goose's heart desires is served here. The region's winegrowers also present their wines full of character - perfectly matched to the autumnal flavors.
Musical entertainment is provided on both days, while younger guests can look forward to fun and games. If you want to delve even deeper into history, visit the Heimathaus Mörbisch - open until midnight on Saturday as part of the ORF Long Night of Museums.
The free Gansl shuttle guarantees a comfortable journey - also to and from Rust, Oggau and Donnerskirchen (Esterházy "Das Biolandgut"), where the "Gans am Neusiedler See" is also celebrated.
