Whiskey Tasting at the Hotel Arnica
The Wiedikon-Sent Whiskey Club invites you to the Hotel Arnica for an elegant culinary journey through Scotland. Led by Tibor Schläpfer and Bastian Sarott, guests will experience a carefully curated whiskey tasting featuring premium single malts, starting off gently and building in flavor as the evening progresses — from delicate bourbon-cask notes to complex sherry-cask aromas and on to smoky, peaty whiskies.
Tibor and Bastian are owners of multiple casks in Scotland, have a large private whiskey collection, and have been traveling regularly throughout Scotland for over ten years. Their passion, experience, and stories form the central theme of this evening.
On the “Tour of Scotland,” guests will discover whiskies from Kingsbarns, Dailuaine, Arran, Glengoyne, and Caol Ila, among others. The tasting is designed for both beginners and whisky enthusiasts looking to discover new facets of the spirit.
A stylish evening for everyone who doesn’t just want to drink whiskey, but also wants to understand it, experience it, and enjoy it with all their senses.
