Valley to Valley Hike: From the Antholzer Valley to the Gsieser Valley

Come with us to Lake Anterselva, the third largest lake in South Tyrol. From here we begin our assent to the Staller Sattel and have already become border hiker between Italy - Austria.

We travel steeply uphill to the Hallscharte ... our gateway back to our Gsieser Tal. After a short rest, we descend over hill and dale to the Weissbachalm, close to Hotel Quelle.

The flora and fauna between the Rieserferner Group, the Alps and the Dolomites is noticeably diverse. Wander the natural area between the two valleys and wonder at the amazing differences with your own eyes.
