Workshop "Wielding the scythe"

Insect-friendly, quiet, petrol-free, sustainable: the scythe is the most environmentally friendly mowing tool!

Anyone interested in learning or practising how to wield a scythe can take part in one of two scything courses. These take place in the landscape park around Chorin Monastery, which is a partner in the BROMMI insect conservation project (www.brommi.org). In small groups, Christoph Andre from the permaculture garden PermaUkera teaches everything practical, useful and important about scything in your own garden.

All the necessary materials can be provided on request. Participation is free of charge, places are limited.
