Bird migration on Lake Neusiedl - nature experience in autumn
When the days shorten and autumn arrives, a special journey begins for many breeding birds: the departure to their wintering grounds. Around Lake Neusiedl, the landscape transforms into an important resting place for migrating species - a fascinating natural spectacle to be discovered.
Together, we go in search of clues and, with a bit of luck, observe birds of prey such as the elegant tree falcon. We will learn why birds migrate in the first place, where their journey takes them, which species spend the winter here and what sensible, bird-friendly winter feeding can look like.
An exciting nature experience for anyone who wants to experience the world of birds up close as the seasons change.
