Advent magic at Katzenberg Castle

The Innviertler Advent (AT), a fascinating highlight, opens its doors. Over 70 artisans present their products, some are made on site. The chestnut avenue smells enticingly of mulled wine, punch and culinary delicacies. The first floor of the farm building and the castle cellar host more arts and crafts booths.

Musical performances accompany the weekend and on Sundays there is a mass in the castle chapel. Children can enjoy pony rides and train rides, pet alpacas in the castle park, and the Schärdinger Teufelsperchten chase away winter spirits. The bookbinding museum displays rare prayer books and calendars. The market supports castle preservation. A magical Advent experience for the whole family.
