Description
Qi Gong translated means - energy exercise/"energy work". This energy work is the art of movement with which the life force can be directed and strengthened. With the millennia-old movement exercise, man can influence his life energy, the QI - itself. This happens through:
- a special breath control
- Certain postures and movements
- Consciously directing the Qi through the power of thought.
The free flow of energy is a basic prerequisite for physical and mental well-being. If this flow is disturbed or unbalanced over a long period of time, it can lead to disorders and diseases. The exercise enables to direct the Qi in the body, to correct imbalances, to fill energy stores and thus to strengthen its vital force. The gentle movements promote awareness of the one body and breathing.
