Binderholz GmbH has created a unique world of experience along the Zillertalstraße in Fügen: Conferences, art and events are combined in the large facility. Bilderholz is one of Europe's leading producers of solid wood, and in order to make it possible to experience wood with all the senses, an entire world of experience was created from a production facility years ago.
The world of experience and catering area were completely redesigned between 2024 and 2025: A multimedia experience in the new premises now provides information about wood, sustainability and the environment: the history of wood on wall reliefs, images of nature and from the company on an oversized LED wall, interesting facts, information and exciting facts on a MultiTouch table. The in-house cinema shows the films "HolzLeben", designed as a guided tour through the Krafwerk and winner of several awards, "HolzWerk", a documentary from the trunk to the product, and "FeuerWerk", a film about the BioMasseHeizKraftWerk.
On the building itself is the "Garten der Lüfte", a roof garden that you can visit. Conferences can be held under the Swiss stone pine canopy of the event hall, as the beneficial properties of Swiss stone pine have a positive effect on the ability to cope with stress and concentrate.
