Hike to the Alpguesalpe

Quite challenging, but fantastically beautiful, very informative and with great views: this is the best way to describe the tour to the Alpguesalpe in the Verwall European nature reserve. From the starting point at the Grasjoch cable car mountain station, you first follow the slope along the Wormser Höhenweg to the Roßbergjoch. From there, the trail changes to the Silbertal side to the Alpguesseen lakes and on to the Alpguesalp. Not only do the suckler cows and their calves graze here, but marmots, chamois and golden eagles also find plenty of habitat here. After a short break at the alp (not catered for!), the hike leads past the Fredakopf back to the starting point.

This tour only takes place in good weather.
