Performance "D'Hochgratler" & Oberstaufen folk dance group

Named after our local mountain and the highest peak in the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park, the Oberstaufen Folk Costume Association is known as “D’Hochgratler.” They not only preserve customs, traditional dances, and folk costumes, but they also keep them alive. Whether it’s the adult Plattler dancers and the Oberstaufen folk dance group or the association’s children’s and youth groups, it’s heartwarming to watch them twirl their costumes and clap their hands on their lederhosen.

The performance is traditionally accompanied by music and takes place only when the weather is good.
