Am Kurgarten 5-7, Bad Kissingen
The Botenlauben castle ruins are considered the oldest landmark in the town of Bad Kissingen. In the Middle Ages, the famous minstrel Otto von Botenlauben once lived here with his wife Beatrix von Courtenay.
Today, the ruins, high above the town, are primarily a great destination for excursions and offer a breathtaking view over the whole of Bad Kissingen. The view even extends as far as the Rhön, the Kreuzberg and Heidelstein.
