At any time of the year a visit to the ALPENZOO is a special experience! Even in winter almost all animal species can be seen, because only the marmots, reptiles and amphibians sleep through the cold season. From April - June most young animals are born in the ALPENZOO, with ibex, chamois and roe deer in May - June. From the beginning of March, on the other hand, many bird species mate or are busy building their nests, which is always exciting to watch.
