Description
The Maler Lakes are two idyllic alpine lakes located at around 2,400 metres above Rein in Taufers. Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and surrounded by the impressive peaks of Hochgall (3,436 m), Wildgall (3,273 m) and Schneebiger Nock (3,358 m), this hike takes you through the peaceful, untouched mountain landscape of the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park.
This scenic and moderately challenging full-day hike is considered one of the most beautiful in the region and is a true highlight for hiking enthusiasts.
Departure by hotel shuttle (limited seats available; individual travel is also possible).
Total walking time approx. 5.5-6 hours, altitude difference in the ascent approx. 1000 m.
