Starting point is the Irrsteinbauer parking lot (€ 3 payable with coins, no change). Approx. 500 m before Gasthof Seeblick am Böndlsee, turn right towards Hackeralm/Meislsteinalm uphill to the Irrsteinbauer parking lot. A farm track leads from here to the inviting Hackeralm in 30 minutes. In a further 30 minutes you reach the Meislsteinalm (the hike is suitable for baby carriages up to this point). We recommend a visit to the shepherd's chapel (approx. 30 min.), which stands out picturesquely in front of the Steinernes Meer. The chapel was only built in this special place in 1999 and has been a popular destination for many hikers all year round ever since. You return via the same route.
