Description
From the Fischleinboden at the end of the Sextner valley we hike towards the Elfer mountain. After a brief visit of the open-air World War I museum “Bellum Aquilarum”, we continue on the Gamssteig (Chamois Track) to reach the Rudi hut on the Rotwand meadows. This Alpine tour at the foot of Elfer peak and Rotwand has a particular flair!
Start with the hotel shuttle (limited numbers of participants, possibility to follow with your own car).
Total walking time ca. 5 hours, altitude difference ca. 830 m.
