Natural bathing area Westerkoog/ Hedwigenkoog

The Westerkoog is located at the western tip of the Hedwigenkoog.

This small bathing spot with a dyke crossing is about a 10-minute drive from the farm and is mainly frequented by locals. A staircase leads into the water and a handful of free beach chairs await tourists. The parking lot right in front of the dyke as well as the public toilet and a shower make it easier for families in particular to bathe free of tourist tax, but you share the sunbathing lawn with the sheep.
