Green natural beach Wesselburen Koog

The Wesselburener Koog bathing area, near the Eidersperrwerk, is equipped with a small playground and a sunbathing lawn free of mudflats. The Watt`n Kindergarten Süderdeich meets at the construction trailer on Monday mornings from May to October and spends the day in and around the mudflats.

The worthwhile mudflat hikes for families with smaller children also regularly start at this bathing area. Extensive walks along the dyke are not only worthwhile in summer, but also in winter.
