Description
From the sunny village of Taisten, the walk begins with a gentle ascent towards the Lutterkopf. The trail soon leads into a coniferous forest and then continues along a narrow woodland path. After about 1.5 hours, the tree line is reached, and from here the wooden summit cross of the Lutterkopf is not far away. At the top, a surprisingly wide panorama opens up: all around, renowned Dolomite peaks such as Dürrenstein, Seekofel and Peitlerkofel rise into the sky. Below us lie the Antholz Valley and the Pragser Valley.
The descent leads via the Taistner Alm and then back to the Mudlerhof.
Start with the hotel bus (limited places, individual travel possible).
Total walking time approx. 4 hours, elevation gain approx. 580 m.
