What started on a whim by two former globetrotters rather haphazardly is now a creative place for unusual craft beers. Klaus and Alois began brewing beer 14 years ago with a soup pot in their parents' kitchen. Today, they are among the elite of the craft beer scene, winning awards around the world with creative interpretations of a classic beverage that sometimes involves more than just hops and malt. During a brewing experience, the two professional brewers from Upper Carinthia show how hand-brewed craft beer is designed. For example, only organic wheat, organic Pilsner malt and the finest organic malting barley are used in the "Gailtaler Weise". The in-house yeast strain gives this beer its unmistakable note.
