Concert: Herbert Pixner

It all began in 2005 with the recording of the first album. Since then, the musical project surrounding the restless multi-instrumentalist and composer Herbert Pixner has continued to evolve.

The uninhibited musical dialogue between tradition, punk, blues, classical music and psychedelia, together with their progressive fusion through daring arrangements and instrumentation, as well as an immense passion for playing and an inexhaustible desire to improvise, have become the trademark of the Herbert Pixner Projekt. For years now, the project has effortlessly filled the largest concert halls throughout the German-speaking world.

To date, the project has performed more than 2,000 sold-out concerts, collaborated with various orchestras, and released more than two dozen albums.
