New mountain hut built in the "old Tyrolean style" on a sunny plateau in the Gaislach area. Magnificent view of the Ventertal valley. Cosiness in a rustic atmosphere with children's playground and home-style cooking.
Starting point and walking time:
From the hotel in Sölden, hike past the church along a narrow asphalt path steeply up to the Innerwald district.
Through the Innerwald you will reach the Ötztal Glacier Road. Follow this road to Stiegele (Gaislach/Gletscherstraße junction). From Stiegele, a forest road runs relatively flat at first and then ascends from the first bend. After several bends, you first reach the Alpengasthof Sonneck, from where you continue at a leisurely pace to the Gaislachalm. Once you arrive at the Gaislachalm, you can take the wide, ascending dirt road behind the alpine pasture to the Heidealm.
For bikers:
The bike tour leads from Sölden via the glacier road to just before the toll station. On the left before the toll station, a paved path leads to the middle station (Gaislach) from there along a wide forest path directly to the Heidealm.
