For more than 30 years, the senior boss has been baking the Lesachtal bread, which is famous far beyond the valley borders, at the farm and in the hotel. In the meantime, this art of baking bread has been declared a
Unesco World Heritage Site, since bread is baked from fine natural sourdough bread, local flour and water according to ancient recipes. No one can do this better than Rosa Lanner, who also teaches the amateur bread bakers how to knead properly. The master bread baker from the Lesach Valley is also happy to pass on the preparation of sourdough, the combination of the right spices and all kinds of interesting facts about the history of bread baking. The up-and-coming bakers can then take their homemade bread home with them, complete with recipe and bread flour.
