The Krimml Waterfalls are not only an impressive natural spectacle in summer. Due to the shady location, only a few rays of sunlight reach the waterfalls, creating beautiful ice formations at the right temperature.

The world-famous Krimml Waterfalls are certainly one of the most popular excursion tips in the Hohe Tauern National Park vacation region. With a drop height of 380 meters, the Krimml Waterfalls are the largest waterfalls in Europe and the fifth highest waterfalls in the world! Huge masses of water plunge into the depths, drawing impressive rainbows in the breathtaking natural scenery.

From a health perspective, the waterfalls are particularly worth a visit for asthmatics, as they are a recognized natural remedy for the lungs and respiratory tract.
