In summer 2026, Seebühne Mörbisch is bringing a world-famous classic to the stage in new splendor: "A Cage Full of Fools" - a rousing musical comedy full of humour, heart and great emotions.
The turbulent story about love, family and social conventions unfolds against the impressive backdrop of Lake Neusiedl. What once began as a play by Jean Poiret was developed into one of the most successful musicals of all time by Jerry Herman (music & lyrics) and Harvey Fierstein (book).
With lively melodies, dazzling costumes and the touching message "I am what I am!", the play becomes a passionate plea for tolerance, equality and individual freedom.
