Handpan workshop by Innersound in Zeuthen
"Taster" workshop for handpans
No previous knowledge is necessary to participate. The instruments will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own handpan.
Making music with the handpan is not as difficult as with other instruments. Once you have made a start, you can continue on your own.
Workshop contents
- Basic concept of the handpan
- Touch techniques, thumb and fingers
- Musical basics: scale, intervals
- Intuitive playing & first grooves / rhythms
- Testing handpans in different tunings
If you would like to refresh yourself after the workshop, you are very welcome at the Biberblick restaurant.
