During a baking workshop at the Matitz bakery (5 km from the daberer), master baker Thomas Matitz initiates visitors into his traditional craft. Already his great-grandfather baked bread with sourdough in Kötschach in 1902. Today, the bakery offers traditional natural sourdough bread, long-term dough tours but no baking mixtures. The offer ranges from the production of the country corn and brewer's malt baguette to the forming of a hand kaiser roll. Tasting included.
