Description

You start the hike at the P+R sports ground in St. Johann, where you can park your car free of charge.

You walk uphill along the stream until you reach the main road (B 311). Then use the underpass under the main road to get to the other side of the road, where you can continue your tour. Walk past the Palfnerhof and Gollehenhof farms on the road towards Brandalm. As there is little traffic on this road, we think it is also suitable for a leisurely winter hike. On your way through the beautiful natural landscape, you will pass two more farms, the Rielinghof and the Birksteinhof. Follow the road to its end, where you have reached your destination, the Brandalm (not farmed!). Follow the same route back on foot.

No refreshment stops, don't forget to take enough liquid (tea, water) and a change of clothes if necessary!
