The Burgherrenrunde at Landskron Castle is a wonderful family hike with fantastic views of Lake Ossiach, Villach and the surrounding mountains. The loop leads along well-maintained forest paths through shady woods, past small ponds, viewpoints and historical sites around Landskron Castle. The hike is particularly popular due to the varied route and the combination of nature, panoramic views and adventure.

Duration: approx. 1.5 hours

Difficulty: easy - ideal for families

Trail: well-maintained forest and woodland paths

There are always beautiful viewpoints along the way, especially at the "Jungfernsprung", where an impressive view opens up over Lake Ossiach and the Karawanken mountains. The hike can be perfectly combined with a visit to the Affenberg or the Adler Arena.
